Insight is currently seeking a Mammographer Technologist to join our dynamic and expanding team. This is a full time, permanent position that will rotate around our 14 clinics that offer mammography exams. Insight offers: * Recruitment Bonus * Paid Vacation, Sick Days, and Flex Days * RRSP Matching * Educational Allowance * Employer Paid Benefits * Healthcare Spending Account Duties and Responsibilities: * Prepares, performs, reports and records a variety of standardized and/or complex procedures, with attention to the welfare and comfort of the patient. * Reports any recognized unusual or abnormal findings to the Radiologist. * Responsible for the operation, safety measures, and basic maintenance of all digital equipment. * Responsible for the general care and cleanliness of the radiographic area. * Knowledge of computer system and all DI office duties. * Maintains quality control in the performance of all procedures. * Willing to assist Radiologists, students, or fellow staff members as required. Skills: * Committed to excellence in patient care, quality control and adherence to diagnostic imaging standards. * Clinical competency in medical radiography. * Comprehensive knowledge of diagnostic imaging procedures and practices. * Knowledge of technical parameters for breast imaging. * Working knowledge of DI equipment to ensure that the units are functioning correctly. Qualifications: * MRT(R) Designation in good standing CAMRT/ACMDTT. * Mammography experience is an asset. * Bone density trained is an asset. * CPR Standard First aid certificate is an asset.
