Insight is currently seeking Tech Aides to join our dynamic and expanding team. Insight offers: * Paid Vacation, Sick Days, and Flex Days * RRSP Matching * Educational Allowance * Employer Paid Benefits * Healthcare Spending Account Duties and Responsibilities: * Chaperone male Ultrasound Technologists for all pelvic exams. * Clean all change rooms, waiting rooms, and patient rooms, including Ultrasound, X-Ray, and Fluoroscopy rooms (stretchers, machines, chairs, countertops, doorknobs, and handles). * Perform hourly clinic cleaning, including doors, handles, washrooms (sinks, toilets, dispensers, floors as required), and restock supplies as needed. * Assist with patient flow by changing and portering patients and updating IDDA with locations. * Clean EV probes and test/replace HLD chemicals for probe cleaning as needed. * Deliver printed baby pictures to obstetrical patients as required. * Escort obstetrical and X-Ray patients to reception to ensure routine and follow-up exams are scheduled. * Restock clinic and exam room supplies, including table paper, towels, gel, pillowcases, probe covers, wipes, cleaning cloths, gowns, sanitizer, and other items as needed. * Unpack and verify supply orders, ensuring packing slips are provided to the Site Lead. * Remove and replace laundry bags throughout the clinic. Skills: * Ability to work in a fast paced/high stress environment. * Self motivated with the ability to recognize and manage multiple priorities. * Effective time management and decision-making skills * Willingness to adapt as the role evolves and changes. * Proven track record in maintaining privacy and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information. Qualifications * Grade 12 graduate * Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience with a focus on customer care * Knowledge and understanding of medical terminology are considered an asset. * Medical Office Administration diploma is considered an asset. * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. * Reliable vehicle with a valid driver’s license is preferred.
