With over 650 employees and 20 locations, Insight provides services in Edmonton and surrounding regions, as well as in Fort McMurray. Insight is currently seeking a Transcriptionist to join our dynamic and expanding team. This is a full time, remote position, with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 10:00am to 6:00pm. Applicants must live in Alberta to be considered for this position. Insight offers: * Paid Vacation, Sick Days and Flex Days * RRSP Matching * Educational Allowance * Employer Paid Benefits * Healthcare Spending Account Duties and Responsibilities * Provide overall medical transcription support to the department, accurately transcribing medical dictations. * Organize and prioritize assigned work and schedule time to accommodate work demands. * Communicate with radiologists and departments. * Provide peer support. * Communicate in a positive and cooperative manner. * Handle difficult situations in a sensitive and proactive manner. Skills: * Comprehensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology. * Exceptional grammar, syntax, editing and punctuation skills. * Attention to detail, concern for accuracy and critical thinking. * Superior listening skills, focus and concentration. * General knowledge of diagnostic imaging procedures, billing codes, and desktop applications (e.g. Word, Windows). * Keyboarding proficiency, ability to type 75+ words per minute. * Ability to complete large volumes of work under deadlines. * Commitment to excellence in patient care, quality control and adherence to diagnostic imaging standards. Qualifications: * Grade 12 diploma required. * Must reside in Alberta. * Successful completion of a recognized program in Medical Transcription required. * 1 to 2 years' recent transcription experience required. * Knowledge of diagnostic imaging processes preferred. * Reliable, hard-wired at-home internet connection. Requirements

Requires a Grade 12 diploma, a recognized medical transcription program certificate, and 1 to 2 years of recent experience. Candidates must reside in Alberta and possess a reliable, hard-wired at-home internet connection.
