Inspire Montessori is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and enthusiastic *Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE)* to join our growing team. We are hiring for our: * *Toddler/Pre-Casa Program (15 months ? 2.5 years)* * *Preschool/Casa Program (2.5 ? 6 years)* If you are committed to providing high-quality early childhood education, fostering independence, and creating meaningful learning experiences for young children, we would love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities * Plan, organize, and implement engaging learning experiences that support children's cognitive, social, emotional, language, and physical development in accordance with the *Early Learning for Every Child Today (ELECT)* framework. * Create and maintain a safe, welcoming, and stimulating learning environment with age-appropriate materials and activities. * Observe, document, and assess children's development, interests, and progress to support individualized learning and development. * Foster positive relationships while modelling respectful communication, self-regulation, problem-solving, and conflict resolution. * Build strong partnerships with families through ongoing, professional communication regarding children's progress and daily experiences. * Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children by following centre policies, licensing regulations, and the *Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA)*. * Complete all required documentation, including attendance records, observations, incident reports, and developmental records accurately and on time. * Collaborate with fellow educators and leadership to create a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment. * Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and continuous quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications * Registered and in good standing with the *College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE)* (RECE required). * Minimum of *2 years* of experience working with toddlers or preschool-aged children in a licensed childcare setting. * Strong knowledge of child development, the ELECT framework, and Ontario licensing requirements. * Excellent classroom management, organization, and interpersonal skills. * Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities. * Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * French language skills are considered an asset but are not required. * Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C Certification (or willingness to obtain before employment). * Current Vulnerable Sector Check (required upon hire). * Up-to-date health and immunization records, including a 2-Step TB test and proof of required immunizations.
