The Registered Dietitian provides specialized nutritional care by assessing patient status and developing individualized nutrition plans within an interdisciplinary team. They also contribute to clinical research projects and provide education to patients, families, and other healthcare professionals. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or Nutrition and be a member in good standing of the Ordre des diététistes-nutritionnistes du Québec (ODNQ). Previous hospital or clinical experience and ODNQ prescribing authorization training are considered assets.
