Position Details: * Position Title: Licensed Practical Nurse * Position Type: Multiple Positions Available – Permanent and Temporary; Full-time, Part-time, and Casual * Location: Opportunities available at any of the following Care Centres –Brentwood, Chinook, Kingsland, or Southwood. * Hours of Work: Shifts include days, evenings, nights and weekends. * Status: Unionized Role Responsibilities: * Under the direction and supervision of the staff nurse, utilize knowledge, skills and relevant attributes to carry out the nursing process * Promotes physical, intellectual, emotional and psychosocial and spiritual well-being of residents and families * Leads by example, mentoring, empowering, delegating and supporting Health Care Aides in a team-focused environment * Follow policies, procedures and work routines * Practice within in the LPN scope, the job description and the policies and procedures of Intercare Corporate Group Inc. Requirements

Candidates must hold active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA) and have completed a medication administration course. Applicants must be physically and mentally capable of performing nursing duties and demonstrate effective communication skills.
