The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving production targets, maintaining high quality standards, supporting reliability and operational performance, and ensuring a strong safety culture across the operation. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will spend time on the production floor coaching employees, removing obstacles, driving accountability, and partnering closely with maintenance and operational teams to maximize uptime and performance. The role involves supporting the crew directly, conducting safety audits, monitoring product quality, and collaborating with maintenance and electrical teams. Key Responsibilities Lead and promote a strong safety culture through visible leadership, coaching, audits, and compliance initiatives. Oversee daily production activities to ensure operational targets are achieved safely and efficiently. Take ownership of operational performance, product quality, and continuous improvement initiatives. Support equipment reliability and production consistency by partnering closely with maintenance teams. Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce costs, and maximize product recovery and value. Ensure lumber products consistently meet customer specifications and quality standards. Supervise, coach, develop, and support production employees to achieve individual and team success. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, respect, and continuous learning. Complete operational reporting, issue tracking, and administrative responsibilities. What We're Looking For - Required Qualifications Bilingual in English and French (mandatory). Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing, industrial, sawmill, mining, food processing, or related production environment. Minimum 1 year of experience leading people in a Team Lead, Lead Hand, Supervisor, or similar leadership role. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active industrial environment. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel.
