Job summary
Vernon Jubilee Hospital (VJH) is seeking Psychiatrists interested in general psychiatry practice, with opportunities to further develop sub-specialty interests. Our cohesive team of eight dedicated Psychiatrists provides care across a 35-bed inpatient psychiatry unit, medical/surgical and emergency consultations, and community-based practices. In this role, you will enjoy a diverse practice with opportunities to work across both acute care and community settings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions. Within the community, you will play a vital role as part of the mental health team, providing outreach and telepsychiatry services across the North Okanagan region, extending from Vernon to Revelstoke. As VJH is affiliated with the UBC Faculty of Medicine Southern Medical Program, you will also have the opportunity to teach and mentor medical students.
