Role Description: Performs a variety of tasks to support the preparation of the detailed financial statements and the maintenance of various financial subsystems. Primary Duties: Completes various general ledger account reconciliations and prepares monthly journal entries. Performs intercompany account analysis and support Performs sales support, analysis and filings Performs analysis of foreign exchange account movements and balances Prepare all needed reports for local and corporate customers Audit and analyze various accounts to support budgeting, closings, internal audits, etc. Perform various tracking tasks as needed to maintain internal control and compliance with company policies Perform other duties as needed Qualifications: At least __3___ years of Accounting/Finance experience Working Knowledge of Dual Currency (CAD/USD) Treasury item processing and ledger balance review. Additional Requirements: Working Knowledge of PeopleSoft & SAP financial systems (or equivalent Enterprise Reporting system) Experience with database analysis and reporting Working knowledge of Windows & Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Access Experience with foreign exchange (CAD/USD) item processing and ledger balance review Experience with intercompany balance entries and reconciliations Desired Skills: Community College or University Undergraduate degree with Accounting Background Analytical and detail oriented with strong database analysis skills Must be able to interact well with others Communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and interface across different functions in the organization Highly motivated, results oriented individual with ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Ability to work independently
