The Toronto Technology Center focuses on the development of robotic inspection systems designed to operate in challenging pipeline environments where conventional inspection tools cannot be used. Multidisciplinary teams work closely together to design, build, test, and refine these systems in-house. About the Role We are seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician with relevant experience to become a member of our dynamic Unique Ability Team. The ideal candidate has a solid mechanical aptitude, loves a technical challenge, is self-motivated yet thrives in a team environment. We aim to reduce barriers to progress in order to maximize innovation, efficiency and quality of work Responsibilities · General mechanical assembly and maintenance · Test, repair, troubleshoot and modify electro-mechanical modules · Perform duties such as quality assurance and testing as required with a high level of quality · Organize and maintain shop facilities · Collaborate and cooperate with team members and assist others in the performance of their duties as needed · General wiring of equipment · Generate reports and other required documents as needed · Take personal responsibility for the quality, accuracy, and integrity of work.
