Job summary
About Intouch Insight Intouch Insight has been helping multi-location brands across North America turn customer feedback and operational data into action since 1992. We've built our reputation on our range of customer experience measurement services and software products, which are trusted by hundreds of North America's most-loved brands, including well-known names in restaurants, retail, grocery and convenience. The Role We're looking for a Sales Manager to lead and energize a small sales team. This is a player-coach role: part of your week will be spent coaching, motivating, and removing roadblocks for your reps, and part of it may be spent directly securing and managing a book of house accounts. We are a lean, tight-knit team where everyone's contribution is visible and you will thrive here if you are hands-on by nature, energized by daily sales activity, and good at bringing out the best in a small, nimble team. We sell across the mid-market and enterprise levels, leveraging both inbound and outbound strategies. If you like being close to the action - coaching reps one day, jumping on a client call the next - this is your kind of place. What You'll Do Lead, coach, and motivate a small team of sales reps - running regular 1:1s, pipeline reviews, and call-coaching to build skill and energy and to ensure continuous improvement of key sales metrics (eg close rates). Set the tone for the team day to day: hands-on, energetic, and engaged rather than purely strategic or hierarchical. Take responsibility for the delivery of the sales department’s quota. Professionally respond to RFI’s and RFP’s as required to secure new business Take responsibility for the management of house accounts as required. Own team-level pipeline health and forecasting and be responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of sales team KPI’s to leadership. Help recruit, onboard, and ramp-up new sales reps as the team grows. Work closely with marketing, customer success, and product teams to ensure a smooth client hand-off and ensure successful ongoing execution. Identify and act on opportunities to improve the sales process, tools, and messaging. · Jump in on deals directly when needed - helping to close, unblocking a stuck opportunity, or covering for a rep. Leverage technology to drive the efficiency and effectiveness of our sales process, utilizing the latest in AI tooling to improve our team’s performance. What We're Looking For 3–6+ years of B2B sales experience, with some team leadership or mentorship experience. A genuine hands-on style - you'd rather be in the field, on calls, and writing RFP responses than buried in strategy decks. Experience motivating and developing a remote team; you know how to keep energy and accountability high without heavy process. Comfortable carrying some individual sales responsibility yourself, alongside managing others. Ability to travel if/as required to support sales team, prospects and clients. Experience in market research, customer experience measurement, SaaS, or a related B2B services space is an asset. Strength in utilizing technologies including Microsoft product suite, CRM tools, and emerging AI tools. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication skills and a natural relationship-builder, both with clients and with your team. The ability to work one day of the week in the Kanata Office would be an asset. Compensation Base salary of 120k-130k, plus a variable compensation package tied to performance. Why Intouch Insight An entrepreneurial and collaborative environment where your impact is visible and immediate. The chance to shape how a sales team operates, rather than inheriting a rigid playbook. Work with recognizable, established brands across North America.
