Application Deadline: October 25, 2026 Job type: Temporary, one-year Location: Ottawa or Toronto Language: Bilingual (French and English) Essential Salary range: $72,900 - $85,800 Invest in Canada is looking for an Events Officer to assist with the planning and execution of Invest in Canada events and/or the organization’s participation in larger events across Canada or on an international scale. Reporting to the Director of Events, this role will collaborate with internal and external resources to ensure the execution of events are in line with Invest in Canada’s overall event strategy. Duties and Responsibilities Plan, organize and execute events in alignment with event objectives and requirements Coordinate with service providers for required services and works alongside staff at the event site to ensure all details are coordinated efficiently Manage on-the-ground logistical challenges and uses sound judgment regarding when to escalate issues as required Consulting with key stakeholders internally and externally Track and monitor financial resources associated with individual events to ensure compliance with travel and hospitality policies Assist with the tracking, monitoring and reporting of event outcomes in order to identify and advise on areas of improvement Support with the management and execution of business agreements with suppliers and partners Requirements Undergraduate degree in Event Management, Marketing or related field 3-5 years of technical experience in event management Broad knowledge of event management, project management, marketing or in a related field Excellent organizational skills, project management skills and strong attention to detail Strong client service focus Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to problem solve and think creatively in order to adapt and re-prioritize according to changing demands Date limite pour postuler : 25 octobre 2026 Type d’emploi : Temporaire, d'un an Emplacement : Ottawa ou Toronto Langues : Bilingue (français et anglais) Essentiel Échelle salariale : 72 900 $ - 85 800 $ Investir au Canada est à la recherche d’un agent(e) des événements pour appuyer la planification et la mise en œuvre des événements d’Investir au Canada et/ou la participation de l’organisation à des événements de plus grande envergure au Canada ou à l’international. Relevant de la directrice ou du directeur des événements, ce poste collaborera avec des ressources internes et externes afin d’assurer que l’exécution des événements est conforme à la stratégie globale d’Investir au Canada en matière d’événementiel. Tâches et responsabilités Planifier, organiser et mettre en œuvre des événements conformément aux objectifs et aux exigences fixés Coordonner avec les prestataires de services les prestations requises et travailler en collaboration avec le personnel sur le site de l'événement afin de garantir une coordination efficace de tous les détails Gérer les défis logistiques sur le terrain et faire preuve de discernement pour déterminer quand il convient de remonter les problèmes, le cas échéant Assurer la liaison avec les principales parties prenantes en interne et en externe Suivre et contrôler les ressources financières associées à chaque événement afin de garantir le respect des politiques en matière de déplacements et d'accueil Participer au suivi, à la surveillance et au compte rendu des résultats des événements afin d’identifier les axes d’amélioration et de formuler des recommandations Apporter son soutien à la gestion et à l’exécution des accords commerciaux avec les fournisseurs et les partenaires Exigences Baccalauréat en gestion d’événements, en marketing ou dans une discipline connexe 3 à 5 ans d’expérience technique Combinaison de vastes connaissances en gestion d’événements, en gestion de projets, en marketing ou dans un domaine connexe Excellent sens de l’organisation assorti de fortes habiletés en gestion de projet et d’un grand souci du détail. Grand souci du service à la clientèle Excellentes compétences en communication orale et écrite Capacité de régler les problèmes et de faire preuve de créativité pour s’adapter et réajuster les priorités en fonction des nouvelles exigences
