We are currently seeking a Maintenance Planner to join our team at our manufacturing facility in Mississauga, Ontario. 📍 Location: Mississauga, ON 💲 Pay: $36.00 - $43.00 per hour 🕒 Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM If you thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoy organizing, planning, and optimizing maintenance operations, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do: As a Maintenance Planner, you will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of the Maintenance Department through effective planning, scheduling, inventory control, and maintenance coordination. Key Responsibilities: Plan and coordinate maintenance work assignments in collaboration with the maintenance leadership team. Assist in the development and management of preventative maintenance schedules. Manage inventory levels and coordinate the procurement of spare and replacement parts. Create, update, and maintain work orders within the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and CMMS platforms. Optimize preventative maintenance programs through detailed analysis and scheduling improvements. Review preventative and predictive maintenance findings and develop corrective action work orders. Identify and document safety requirements, permits, and special procedures for maintenance activities. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as required. Support Health & Safety, Environmental Management Systems, 5S initiatives, and energy conservation programs. What We're Looking For: Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of industrial maintenance operations and equipment. Experience using CMMS or maintenance management software. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of inventory management and spare parts control. Experience with 5S methodologies and continuous improvement practices. Excellent planning, scheduling, and organizational skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Working knowledge of workplace health and safety practices. Preferred: Experience within the plastics manufacturing industry. Working Environment: This position is based primarily within a manufacturing facility and requires: Frequent walking and standing. Lifting, pushing, and pulling materials up to 50 lbs. Exposure to heat, dust, noise, and industrial equipment. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage changing priorities. Why Join IPEX?
