In support of our operations in Canada and the U.S., we are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to conduct full-cycle recruitment across North America to identify, attract, and engage top talent. This role partners closely with hiring managers and HR teams to execute end-to-end recruitment strategies, ensuring a seamless candidate experience and alignment with business goals. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent, this position plays a critical role in building organizational capability and supporting business growth. This is a remote position within commuting proximity to Oakville, ON. It will be required to attend occasional on-site events, town hall meetings, and to support select talent acquisition initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead full-cycle recruitment including intake meetings, job postings, resume reviews, screening, interviewing, and offer support. Source candidates using innovative and strategic methods to attract top talent. Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and align recruitment efforts. Provide guidance on recruitment best practices, interviewing, and candidate selection. Proactively source candidates through job boards, social media, community outreach, and networking. Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs. Maintain ATS accuracy and ensure compliance with applicable policies and labor laws. Develop relationships with post-secondary institutions, associations, and professional organizations. Represent the company at career fairs, trade schools, and community events. Promote company culture, values, and career opportunities to strengthen employer branding. Support social media employer branding initiatives. Participate in continuous improvement projects related to recruitment and candidate experience. Provide broader HR support as required. Qualifications Post-secondary education in Human Resources or equivalent HR or Talent Acquisition certification is considered an asset. Technical Skills & Experience 3–5 years of experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, recruiting intermediate to mid-level positions. Experience in a high-volume recruitment environment. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, database searching, and reporting. Experience with social media recruiting, strong knowledge of ATS platforms, sourcing tools, and AI-enabled recruiting solutions Experience in a multi-location manufacturing environment is an asset. Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
