Job summary
We are looking for a professional, upbeat Mail Center Manager to work in our Toronto, Ontario, Canada office. There will be a two-week paid training, starting on Day 1. This position is NOT remote and requires you to work in the office, Monday - Friday 9:00 - 5:00pm. To excel in this role, you should be comfortable working independently, speaking with clients on the phone and in person, able to think on your feet and have a positive, team-oriented attitude. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: Receive mail, scan into software and file appropriately Upon customer direction, discard, shred, open & scan contents of mail and / or forward to an alternate location Answer inbound calls and in person inquiries from customers in a prompt and professional manner Assist customers in person to retrieve their mail in a courteous fashion Ascertain level of assistance needed to resolve inquiry and escalate when appropriate Deliver all information in a positive, conversational, and compassionate manner to facilitate relationship development with clients Ensure the highest level of customer service Keep inventory of mail and office supplies and keep the corporate office informed when supplies need to be reordered Perform other customer service responsibilities to assist the corporate office during busy times Requirements: Ability to work independently and handle confidential mail with absolute discretion Results oriented Strong work ethic Organization skills are a must Excellent verbal and written communication skills Previous experience in an office coordinator role with an emphasis in customer service Ability to lift and carry heavy items with minimal assistance up to 50 lbs on a regular basis. Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching to handle materials or perform tasks. Ability to stand, walk, and move around the work area for extended periods. Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer. Perform repetitive motions, including typing, data entry, and handling equipment. Adequate visual and manual dexterity to operate computers and equipment safely.
