Job summary
Iris's Direct client, a highly diversified financial services provider based in Canada is looking to hire a BSA – Payments for a Long Term Contract opportunity. Location: Hybrid in Toronto – 4 days in office Job Description/Skills Required : Strong hands-on knowledge of ISO 20022 payments message categories and structures (pacs, pain, camt, acmt). Experience on payments systems such as Wires, SWIFT, RTP, ACH, Cross-Border payments, or Real-Time payments. Strong expertise in mapping payments data between legacy formats (MT101, MT103, MT199 etc.) and ISO 20022 message schema. Experience creating BRD, FRD, Interface Specifications, Data Mapping documents, and traceability matrices. Strong understanding of payments lifecycle—initiation, authorization, settlement, returns, and reconciliation. Experience working with XML formats, schemas, and payment validation rules. Ability to collaborate with technology teams and functional SMEs, clarify ambiguities, and drive resolution.
