Title: Java Full Stack Lead Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid) Duration: 24 Months Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Lead with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Angular to design, develop, and support enterprise-scale banking applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on full stack development experience, strong technical leadership capabilities, and prior experience working in the banking/financial services domain. The role requires close collaboration with onshore stakeholders, driving technical discussions, and resolving technical challenges across the development lifecycle. Required Skills: 10+ years of software development experience with Java technologies. Lead technical discussions with onshore stakeholders, manage offshore team responsibilities and technical blockers. Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture Extensive experience with Angular (Angular 10+ preferred) Experience with RESTful APIs, Spring Security, JPA/Hibernate Strong knowledge of SQL databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, and DevOps practices Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP Strong understanding of software design patterns, coding standards, and best practices Prior banking or financial services industry experience is mandatory Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills About Iris Software Inc.
