The Sales Manager while working from our corporate office will effectively manage our CRM while supporting our business analytics and reporting team. The role will report directly into the Vice President, Pulp & Packaging Sales.This career opportunity is invaluable to our business. You will be working as part of an energetic and collaborative team that works together to drive new sources of revenue while continuing to deliver high standards of customer service and teamwork.RESPONSIBILITIESLead US/Canadian business development for our sales team in all markets.AI project lead for various process improvement initiatives across our sales processesCollaborate with both current and prospective customers to increase sales volume and ensure consistent revenue.Monitor and manage mill fulfillment rates to customers on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basisEnsure disciplined use of CRM system, data integrity, and adherence to defined sales processesAct as the main contact between Sales and internal teams such as scheduling, logistics, warehousing, and customer service.Ensure alignment between customer commitments, service delivery capabilities and business objectives Work together to share field insights that can guide the creation of solutions for customers.Collect and analyse competitive and market intelligence, providing timely updates to senior leadership.Willingness for North American travel with occasional international travel required (once or twice per year) QUALIFICATIONSExceptional people and communication skillsBachelor's Degree: MBA considered an asset7 to 10 years of experience with a minimum of 3 to 5 years in a sales roleDemonstrated expertise in developing new business opportunities and identifying additional revenue streamsExcellent leadership and coaching abilityStrong knowledge and skillset with Microsoft Copilot and general AI expertiseDeep understanding of customers and competitors required to drive salesAbility to exercise strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skillsDemonstrates flexibility as a team member and is willing to take a practical, hands-on role when the business needs it.ABOUT USFounded in 1882, J.D.
