Status: Open Role Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 Process Engineering Specialist Overview Seeking a Process Engineering Specialist to develop, optimize, and support manufacturing processes within an electronics manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and improve manufacturing processes and work instructions. Lead Lean/Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives. Support new product introductions and production readiness. Troubleshoot and optimize SMT, AOI, depaneling, and related equipment. Conduct process capability studies, DOE, root cause analysis, and corrective actions. Design and manage process fixtures, tooling, and equipment improvements. Support equipment maintenance, validation, and performance optimization. Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Production, and Program teams. Qualifications Engineering degree or equivalent experience. 10+ years of electronics/manufacturing experience, including hands-on process engineering. 3+ years in an ISO 9000/9001 environment. Strong knowledge of SMT, AOI, depaneling, and electronic assembly. Experience with FMEA, SPC, DOE, process validation, and DFM. Hands-on experience with IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD-001. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Electronics contract manufacturing experience is an asset. Experience with CAD, MES, Gerber viewers, and AOI programming is an asset. isgsearch does not use artificial intelligence in the recruitment screening process
