Job summary
Our Government client is seeking an experienced UX Designer to create intuitive, accessible, and visually engaging digital experiences across web, mobile, and other digital platforms. The successful candidate will take a user-centered design approach, conducting research, developing prototypes, testing solutions, and iterating designs based on user feedback and business requirements. Ideal candidate would have previous Government Experience Key Responsibilities Design intuitive and user-friendly web and mobile experiences. Conduct user research, interviews, surveys, and usability testing. Translate research findings into user flows, journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes. Design and iterate solutions based on user feedback and testing. Identify usability and design issues and develop effective solutions. Create responsive, mobile-first designs across a range of devices and interfaces. Develop and maintain UX/UI design standards and patterns. Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and other stakeholders within Agile/Scrum teams. Present design concepts, recommendations, and research findings to clients and stakeholders. Incorporate accessibility, usability, and responsive design principles into solutions. Manage competing priorities while meeting project timelines and deliverables. Mandatory Requirements 3+ years of professional UX/UI design experience on complex digital projects. Strong understanding of user-centered design, mobile-first, and responsive design principles. Proven experience conducting user research and usability testing. Experience creating: User flows and journey maps Wireframes and mockups Interactive prototypes User research findings and recommendations Strong proficiency with modern UX/UI design and prototyping tools, particularly Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Cloud, Axure, InVision, or similar. Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments. Strong understanding of web and mobile design principles and the capabilities/limitations of web technologies. Ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive user experiences. Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Experience Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related discipline. Experience with accessibility and usability compliance testing. Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React, Angular, or Node.js. Experience supporting digital products through Discovery, Alpha, Beta, and Live or similar delivery phases. Experience working with distributed, cross-functional product teams. Strong understanding of change management and stakeholder engagement.
