Why join us? * Free lunch with most shifts * Yearly bonus * Opportunities to learn & grow * On-site parking * Flexible scheduling * A welcoming, family-oriented team What you'll do * Welcome customers, answer questions, and recommend bakery products. * Package, portion, and wrap a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, cookies, and other baked goods. * Keep bakery displays, bread walls, and shelves fully stocked and presentable. * Process customer calls and bakery orders accurately and efficiently. * Assist bakers with product preparation and coordinate with the Café team to maintain product availability. * Monitor product quality, identify expired or damaged goods, and follow food safety procedures. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe bakery environment. * Provide excellent customer service and contribute to a positive team atmosphere. * Share ideas and observations about customer preferences, new products, and market trends. What we're looking for * At least one year of customer service experience. * High school diploma or GED preferred. * Strong communication and customer service skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and learn quickly. * A positive attitude, teamwork, and a genuine passion for helping customers. * Ability to work independently and maintain a professional approach in challenging situations. Schedule & Physical Requirements * Open availability, including mornings, days, evenings, weekends, and general holidays. * Shifts vary between 8:00 a.m. and 9:15 p.m. * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently. * Comfortable with extended periods of standing and walking, frequent bending and twisting, and occasional pushing or pulling of heavy carts. * Ability to work in coolers and freezers for short periods.
