Job summary
We’re excited to share an opportunity for an existing vacancy as an Industrial Millwright (433A) in Kitchener, Ontario. This is a great opportunity to join a manufacturing environment where you will play a key role in keeping equipment running safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be a fully licensed Millwright who has completed their apprenticeship and brings strong troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance experience from a manufacturing setting. Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Perform preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated production equipment Diagnose equipment failures and complete repairs in a timely manner to minimize downtime Install, align, dismantle, and move industrial machinery and mechanical equipment Support production by responding to breakdowns and identifying root causes of recurring issues Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals Conduct equipment inspections and recommend improvements to increase reliability and performance Work closely with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to support plant objectives Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety standards, policies, and procedures Maintain accurate maintenance records and document completed work orders Mandatory Requirements: Valid 433A Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) license Will consider 3Y/4Y Apprentices that have completed all of their schooling, Must have 3+ years of troubleshooting experience in an automated manufacturing environment 5+ years of Millwright experience within a manufacturing environment Strong troubleshooting and repair experience with industrial machinery Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, motors, and bearings Ability to work a rotating continental shift Strong commitment to safety and preventative maintenance best practices Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment Apprentice Rate: $35.00/hour, RRSP Matching, Benefits after 1-Month Shift: Continental Rotation (7:00am-7:00pm, etc.) If you are interested in learning more about the Industrial Millwright (433A) job opportunity please submit your updated resume to [email protected] We are recruitment industry leaders committed to quality service, integrity, respect and equal opportunity.
