Automation Technician

We're excited to share an opportunity for an existing vacancy as an Automation Technician with an established manufacturer in the Vaughan area on the Day shift! Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Breakdown and Preventative maintenance of automated CNC wood cutting machinery (CNC Saws, CNC Edge Benders), conveyors, brake presses, laser cutters, panel benders, and related automated equipment. Weld Robot Maintenance Basic electrical maintenance PLC Troubleshooting/Modification (AB) Mandatory Requirements: 3+ years of preventative maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferably within the furniture manufacturing industry or related. Perform breakdown and preventative maintenance on automated CNC wood cutting machinery, conveyors, and laser cutters. Handle weld robot maintenance and PLC troubleshooting and modifications using Allen Bradley systems.

Requires 3+ years of preventative maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in furniture manufacturing. A diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and experience with PLC troubleshooting are mandatory.
