Job summary
Role Profile: IBM TM1 / Planning Analytics Specialist Location: Toronto, ON Onsite position Core Domain: Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Key Technical Competencies Core Architecture: Multidimensional modeling, cube design, dimension hierarchy management (including alternate hierarchies), and feed/feeder optimization. Scripting & Rules: Writing and troubleshooting complex TurboIntegrator (TI) processes for ETL/data loading and cube calculation rules. Front-End & Reporting: Building dynamic reporting dashboards and entry templates using Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW) and Planning Analytics for Microsoft Excel (PAx/PASS). Engineering Standards: SDLC best practices, version control, model documentation, change management, and environment lifecycle maintenance. Key Functional & Soft Skills Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partnering with FP&A and finance teams to automate manual forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis workflows. Requirements Gathering: Translating business requirements and functional finance logic into technical system specifications. Mentorship & Team Dynamics: Working across multi-tiered teams with varying levels of technical seniority.
