Senior Technology Architect (IBM Maximo)

Role Title: Technology Architect – Senior (IBM Maximo) Location & Work Mode: Toronto; 3-4 days Onsite Brief Description We are seeking a Senior Technology Architect to support the Client’s Enterprise Work Management System (EWMS) Program. The successful candidate will provide technical architecture leadership for IBM Maximo implementations, define enterprise solution architecture, support full lifecycle Work Management System implementations, and guide integration, data migration, and technical strategy across complex enterprise environments. This role requires extensive experience with IBM Maximo, enterprise architecture, and public sector technology implementations. Education Graduate Degree or higher in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline. IBM Certified Maximo Professional (Mandatory). Required Skills 15+ years of Work Management Systems implementation experience. 10+ years of IBM Maximo development and implementation experience. 10+ years leading solution design and full lifecycle Maximo implementations. Strong expertise in IBM Maximo Asset Management / Maximo Application Suite. Extensive knowledge of Work Management processes and Maximo architecture. Experience integrating Maximo with third-party enterprise applications. Experience developing enterprise architecture, technical strategies, and solution frameworks. Knowledge of high availability, fault-tolerant architecture, and disaster recovery. Strong understanding of relational and spatial databases, system architecture, and object-oriented design. Experience supporting legacy data conversion and data migration strategies. Strong stakeholder communication and technical leadership skills. Experience working within Public Sector environments (Municipal experience preferred). Responsibilities Provide technical architecture and solution design leadership for the Enterprise Work Management System (EWMS) Program. Lead the design and implementation of IBM Maximo solutions and enterprise integrations. Develop technical architecture strategies, frameworks, standards, and design documentation. Define integration architecture between Maximo and enterprise applications. Support legacy data conversion, migration planning, and data mapping activities. Provide technical guidance throughout the full implementation lifecycle. Support application configuration, testing, and functional validation. Conduct root cause analysis and recommend technical improvements. Collaborate with business teams, project teams, vendors, and stakeholders. Promote enterprise architecture best practices and reusable technical solutions. Serve as the IBM Maximo Subject Matter Expert (SME) throughout the project lifecycle. Support project documentation, technical reviews, and implementation governance.

The Senior Technology Architect will provide technical architecture and solution design leadership for the Enterprise Work Management System (EWMS) Program. They will lead the design and implementation of IBM Maximo solutions and enterprise integrations.

Candidates must have 15+ years of Work Management Systems implementation experience and 10+ years of IBM Maximo development and implementation experience. An IBM Certified Maximo Professional certification is mandatory.
