The Industrial Maintenance Millwright is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of plant equipment. They will also participate in new equipment installations and communicate effectively with shift managers and operators.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Industrial Maintenance Mechanic will be a self- starter with a “CanDo” attitude and the ability to adapt in a fast paced and dynamic work environment. * Department: Maintenance * Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor * Hourly Wage: $26.76 - $38.23/hr (depending on the block you hold) RESPONSIBILITIES * Follow all safety policies and procedures. * Day to day maintenance of equipment; * Trouble shooting, preventive and predictive maintenance * Communication with shift managers and supervisors, operators. * Involvement in projects and new equipment installations; * Participation in or conducting training on familiarity with equipment. * Be willing and able to learn all aspects of the business inside of all departments. QUALIFICATIONS * Must possess License in Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (Red Seal, Block 4, 3 ). * Experience in Manufacturing would be considered an asset. * Required to work in all areas of the plant. (Receiving, front line and packaging etc.) * Must have the physical ability to perform all job functions * Must accept responsibility of helping maintain all Cavendish Farms equipment and buildings. * Must be willing to work alternative shift schedules when applicable for assignments. * Must be willing to work overtime. Requirements

Candidates must possess a valid Industrial Maintenance Mechanic license (Red Seal, Block 4, or 3). The role requires the physical ability to perform job functions across all plant areas and a willingness to work alternative shifts and overtime.
