Fleetway is seeking a qualified Intermediate Business Analyst to join our Technical Publications team, supporting the development of technical documentation for the next generation of Royal Canadian Navy ships. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex marine and defence programs, helping ensure the technical data, processes, and systems needed to support publications development are accurate, efficient, and aligned with project requirements. As an Intermediate Business Analyst, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to gather requirements, analyze business processes, support data management initiatives, and help drive continuous improvement. You will play a key role in connecting business needs with technical solutions while contributing to the successful delivery of critical project milestones. Responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document Technical Data Package (TDP) requirements. Facilitate meetings, workshops, and discussions to understand business needs, challenges, and priorities. Document business and functional requirements using process maps, workflows, and other analysis tools, ensuring traceability throughout the project lifecycle. Analyze existing processes, workflows, and systems, identifying opportunities for improvement and increased efficiency. Support the management and maintenance of technical data and documentation within enterprise systems, including Windchill. Identify and assess risks, issues, dependencies, and impacts related to project deliverables and technical data requirements. Track project milestones, timelines, and deliverables against established schedules. Develop and maintain project status reports, metrics, and dashboards to provide visibility into progress and performance. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and data governance requirements. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to process effectiveness, data quality, and information management. Qualifications A degree or diploma in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering Technology, Project Management, or a related field. Demonstrated experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role. Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements. Experience developing process maps, workflows, or business documentation. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
