AWS Glue, PySpark, Informatica PowerCenter ,AWS S3, Athena, and related AWS data services Years of experience required for each skill? 5+ Years We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in AWS Glue, Informatica PowerCenter, ETL modernization, and Tableau reporting. The ideal candidate will play a key role in migrating legacy Informatica ETL workflows to AWS Glue (PySpark), designing scalable cloud-based data pipelines, and collaborating with client and offshore teams to deliver high-quality data solutions. Key Responsibilities Analyze existing Informatica ETL workflows and design migration strategies to AWS Glue using PySpark. Convert, optimize, and validate Informatica mappings, workflows, and transformations in AWS Glue. Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance data pipelines on AWS. Perform data reconciliation and validation to ensure accuracy between legacy and target systems. Design, build, and support data ingestion, transformation, and integration processes. Create technical specifications, migration documents, and solution designs. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Support data visualization and reporting initiatives using Tableau. Coordinate effectively between client stakeholders, onsite teams, and offshore development teams. Lead discussions, track action items, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones. Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and issues and bring them to logical conclusions. Required Skills Strong experience with AWS Glue, PySpark, AWS S3, Athena, and related AWS data services. Hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter and ETL development. Proven experience in Informatica-to-AWS Glue migration projects. Strong SQL and data modeling skills. Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL/ELT concepts, and cloud-based analytics platforms. Experience with source systems such as Oracle, DB2, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server. Good understanding of data quality, performance tuning, and optimization techniques. Preferred Skills Experience with Tableau for data visualization and reporting. Knowledge of CI/CD, Git, and Agile delivery methodologies. Exposure to other AWS services such as Lambda, Step Functions, and Redshift.
