Job summary

We are looking for an experienced IT Data Modeler with a strong background in Property & Casualty Insurance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing enterprise data models and working with insurance data across key business functions. What you'll do Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models Build data models for policy, claims, billing, customer, risk, and related insurance domains Develop dimensional models for reporting and analytics Maintain metadata, data dictionaries, and source-to-target mappings Collaborate with business, architecture, engineering, and analytics teams Support data governance, quality, and database optimization initiatives What you bring and Must have skills 5+ years of data modeling and database design experience 3+ years of Property & Casualty Insurance domain experience Strong knowledge of conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling Experience with ER modeling, dimensional modeling (Star/Snowflake), Snowflake, database design, normalization, and denormalization Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data quality Experience with ER/Studio, PowerDesigner, and Visio Nice to have Azure Data Services experience Data Warehousing or Data Lake experience Familiarity with Master Data Management and Data Governance frameworks Agile delivery experience Work setup Location: Toronto, ON Work type: Hybrid Duration: 6 12+ months
