Mainframe DevOps Migration Consultant

Mandatory Skills (Must-Have) IBM z/OS and USS administration/support SCM migration experience, especially CA-Endevor to IBM DBB/Git/IDD Strong Application Development or System Programming background Hands-on experience with IBM Dependency Based Build (DBB) Strong Git knowledge (repositories, branching, merge strategies) Experience with IBM IDz/IDD and Wazi Deployment DevOps pipeline design, implementation, and troubleshooting YAML and Groovy scripting Installation, configuration, and support of DBB/Git/IDD solutions Application conversion, validation, and migration troubleshooting Build and pipeline failure analysis/debugging Customer-facing consulting and stakeholder management Technical training and knowledge transfer delivery Strong problem determination and root-cause analysis skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience Required Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience 8+ years as a Systems Programmer, Mainframe Engineer, or similar role 4+ years of customer-facing consulting experience Experience in application development, lifecycle management, or SCM migrations is a plus Ideal Profile A Mainframe DevOps/SCM Migration SME with deep expertise in Endevor Git/DBB/IDD migrations, strong z/OS administration, Git-based DevOps pipelines, DBB builds, Wazi Deployment, and proven client-facing consulting and training experience.

The consultant will be responsible for the migration of SCM solutions, particularly from CA-Endevor to IBM DBB/Git/IDD. They will also design, implement, and troubleshoot DevOps pipelines while providing customer-facing consulting and technical training.

Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, with at least 8 years in a Systems Programmer or Mainframe Engineer role and 4 years of customer-facing consulting experience. Strong expertise in IBM z/OS, Git, and DevOps practices is essential.
