   Responsible for preparing the British Columbia Children’s & Women’s Hospital Redevelopment Project, Phase 1 - prepare wings A & L for demolition to allow space for Phase 2, new acute care centre. Activities include short & long-term planning with the hospital operation; collaborating with various stakeholders to define the scope, enforce tenant rights, and maintain relationships; procuring and managing design consultants; procuring local contractors to execute work; managing budgets and communications with Hospital executives; and liaising with on-site staff & on-site management where required. Key accomplishments include The relocation and creation of new spaces for 140 programs and six clinics, from demolished buildings to new spaces on and off the hospital campus. Overall project cost: $40 Million. • I directed all campus construction activities for Phase 1 of the redevelopment project. • Project managed multiple key construction build-outs, interior enhancements, relocations & office closures. • I adhered to sigma-6 and hospital directives for design, construction management, and risk management, with regard to impacts on current hospital operations. • Successful delivery of projects on time and on budget to avoid any penalty claims from Phase 2 operations.

   As part of a Public-Private Partnership (P3) Project team, I oversaw the interior package for the new E-Division RCMP headquarters in Surrey, BC, with a $900 million budget. • Ensure project compliance with the Project Agreement. • Managed the design team and ensured specifications and drawings met the requirements • I presented a design to the client and the end user. • I created work packages dependent on the tenant and the overall project agreement. • Made modifications through value-engineering processes and quality control reviews • Created bid packages, put them out for tender and hired contractors. I subcontracted trades to execute the work. Managed construction and liaised with new subcontractors and site personnel. • Participated in the Construction of New Sunnyside Elementary in South Surrey for School District 42 for $10M

   I participated in the construction of the Vancouver Olympic Village in the SE False Creek Area of Vancouver as part of the developer's general contractor team. Ultimately responsible for Parcel 3, “Millennium Bridger.” • I communicated directions, changes, and parcel scheduling with the construction teams and sub-trades. • I help procure materials and contracted subtrades, review shop drawings, and resolve conflicts in as-built conditions. • Tracked the site's progress and aided in the creation of weekly schedules and workforce counts • I controlled the quality of the final product. • Participated in committees to schedule site-wide operations, liaise and coordinate with other parcels and the City of Vancouver to schedule deliveries and coordinate time and space for major construction activities to benefit the success of all Parcels.
