Position: Carpenter Apprentice - 78th Ave Lightrail Transit Bridge Project Type: Infrastructure Project Location: Calgary, AB Shift: Day Schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off Accommodations: Local Only GC: Graham Allied Partner: Technical Workforce Inc. Reference Number: 31710 Jardeg is currently recruiting for a Carpenter Apprentices to work with Technical Workforce Inc. for one of our infrastructure projects in Calgary, AB! This position is a 5 days on and 2 days off schedule with the possibility of working afternoons, evenings, and weekends. At this time, only local candidates will be considered. As a Carpenter Apprentice, You Will Assist with building forms for concrete Cut, shape, and join Look for and fix deficiencies Check accuracy of work, and makes adjustments as required Study blueprints for work planning Construct and form chutes for pouring concrete Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level Inform immediate supervisor of abnormalities or defects and/or takes appropriate measures Maintain clean, organized work areas; remove debris and hazards; support end-of-shift cleanup Minimum Requirements Preference will be given to candidates that registered Carpenter Apprentices from a recognized provincial training authority Non-ticketed carpenters must provide proof of hours relevant to the industrial Carpentry trade Experience with concrete formwork and framing considered assets Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Describe and point out safety compliance and regulatory issues Must be legally entitled to work in Canada COME AND GET YOUR BOOTS DIRTY!
