Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, including experience in industrial settings and renovation projects. This role requires a thorough understanding of electrical systems, the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and proficiency with various hand and power tools. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems to ensure safety and efficiency. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems. Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements. Utilize power tools and hand tools to complete tasks efficiently and safely. Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to ensure proper functionality. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on-site. Skills Conduit bending and installation experience is required Proficiency in low voltage systems installation and maintenance. Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints. Experience with 3 phase electrical systems is required. Familiarity with the use of power tools and hand tools specific to electrical work. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to Nisku, AB.
