Job Summary Loss Prevention Officer Food World Plus Full-time, Part-time In-Office | Mississauga, ON, Canada The OpportunityKey Responsibilities Food World Plus is seeking a reliable and experienced Security Guard / Loss Prevention Officer to prevent theft, monitor store activities, protect company assets, and maintain a safe environment for customers and employees. Key Responsibilities Monitor store premises and CCTV cameras to prevent theft and suspicious activities. Identify shoplifting, internal theft, and point-of-sale fraud. Respond to security incidents and emergencies professionally. Prepare incident reports and maintain accurate records. Handle evidence appropriately and cooperate with police when required. Use conflict de-escalation techniques to manage difficult situations. Support inventory shrinkage prevention and follow company security procedures. Required Qualifications Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence (mandatory). 2–5 years of relevant security or loss prevention experience. Current use-of-force training certification. Current First Aid and CPR certification. Strong observation, communication, and conflict de-escalation skills. CCTV monitoring and incident reporting experience. Preferred: Previous supermarket or high-volume retail security experience. Shift ScheduleHow to Apply Morning: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Afternoon/Evening: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM Overnight: 11:00 PM until cleaning and overnight restocking are completed. Requirements

The role requires 2–5 years of relevant security or loss prevention experience, strong observation and communication skills, conflict de-escalation ability, and experience with CCTV monitoring and incident reporting.
