The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units, boilers, chillers, and ventilation systems. Career advancement opportunities *Key Responsibilities* * Install refrigeration and air conditioning systems, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and control systems. * Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration equipment. * Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions, leaks, and performance issues. * Repair or replace faulty components, such as motors, compressors, fans, and thermostats. * Handle and recharge refrigerants in compliance with environmental regulations. * Ensure efficient system operation by testing for proper pressure, temperature, and airflow. * Adhere to Company and OHS Safety Procedures * Communicate effectively with clients, building managers, and contractors regarding system performance and necessary repairs. * Provide recommendations for energy efficiency upgrades and system improvements. * Maintain accurate service records, including reports on maintenance, repairs, and system performance. *What We?re Looking For* ? Second, Third or Fourth Year Apprentice or Journeyman ? Valid Class 5 Driver?s License ? Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills ?
