*Job Overview* Here at Jessop Transport we are seeking a motivated and dependable Vacuum Truck Driver to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will operate specialized vacuum trucks to perform a variety of services, including removal, bin and site cleaning. Of used cooking oil from our grease bins at restaurant in and around the GTA . Your expertise in commercial driving and heavy equipment operation will ensure safe, efficient, and compliant service delivery. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge equipment while contributing to environmentally responsible practices. *Responsibilities* * Safely operate vacuum trucks and associated heavy equipment to complete scheduled and emergency service calls. * Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and minor repairs on vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal functioning. * Load, unload, and secure materials or products according to safety standards and company protocols. * Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to environmental regulations. * Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, including logs, reports, and delivery receipts. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate job assignments and ensure timely completion. * Schedule Monday to Friday (Occasionally, weekends as needed) 8 to 10 hrs/day *Requirements* * Valid Ontario DZ driver?s license (CDL) with a clean driving record and CVOR. * Minimum 3 years driving experience with a DZ licence. * Experience operating vacuum trucks or similar heavy equipment preferred. * Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting 50lbs pushing heavy loads, climbing ladders, and running power washers for bin and site cleanings. * Strong commitment to safety protocols and environmental compliance. * Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions. * Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime or on-call shifts when necessary.
