IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL PERFORM MECHANICAL REPAIRS, HYDRAULIC AND ELECTRICAL DIAGNOSTICS, PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE, AND INSPECTIONS ON A VARIETY OF HEAVY EQUIPMENT REPRESENTED BY JJE. THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE IS DETAIL-ORIENTED, SELF-MOTIVATED, AND COMMITTED TO DELIVERING HIGH-QUALITY REPAIRS IN A TIMELY AND EFFICIENT MANNER. YOU WILL WORK CLOSELY WITH THE SERVICE WRITER, PARTS TEAM, LEAD HAND, AND SERVICE MANAGER TO ENSURE SEAMLESS OPERATIONS WHILE TRAVELING BETWEEN BRANCHES, CLIENT SITES, AND WORKSITES AS REQUIRED. What You’ll Do * Perform mechanical repairs on a variety of heavy equipment represented by JJE * Perform hydraulic and electrical diagnostics * Conduct repairs in a timely and effective manner, communicating effectively with the Service Writer and Parts team to ensure optimal efficiency * Conduct regular preventative maintenance tasks and inspections * Communicate with Lead Hand and/or Service Manager regarding job progress and job status changes * Regular travel throughout Calgary region and surrounding areas is required Total Rewards * Competitive wage, based on experience * $2.00/hour Premium for Road Technician * Signing Bonus up to $2500 * Quarterly Profit-Sharing Bonuses – up to $1,500 * Training Bonuses – up to $3,000 for Manufacturer & Technician Training * Annual Wage Review * Group Benefits that are 100% paid for by the Company – inclusive of Health, Dental, Life, Disability and Travel coverage * Vacation & Paid Personal days * Employer Matching Retirement Savings Plan Position Details Location – Calgary, Alberta Status - Permanent Position Type – Hourly position Schedule - Monday-Friday - occasional extended hours may be required based on operational needs.
