About Camp Miriam Camp Miriam is a Jewish overnight camp on Gabriola Island, BC, offering a supportive, fun and empowering experience for kids in Grades 2-11. Position Overview Camp Miriam seeks a talented and self-motivated candidate for the role of Office Administrator in our Vancouver Office. The Office Administrator ensures the smooth operation of Camp Miriam’s Vancouver office, supporting registration, staff hiring, fundraising and general administration. This role requires strong organization, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects. Key Responsibilities Office Management - Maintain office supplies, handle calls, distribute mail and represent Camp Miriam to visitors. Registration Support - Assist with the registration process, update forms, manage fees and coordinate logistics. Staff Hiring - Process summer staff paperwork, manage criminal record checks and work permits. Fundraising Support - Maintain donor databases, issue receipts, assist with newsletters and support grant writing and events. Admin & IT Support - Manage the photo repository, maintain the website and coordinate volunteer efforts. Compensation: $20-25/hr, approx. 20 hours/week Reports To Community Director Collaborates With: Director of Development, Bookkeeper
