Senior Technician – Rolls-Royce M250 Engine JMC Aviation is supporting a leading global engine MRO provider specializing in the maintenance, repair and overhaul of Rolls-Royce M250 and RR300 engines. Operating across multiple international facilities, the company supports customers in a range of industries including emergency services, law enforcement, military, agricultural, industrial and tourism. Within this role, you will join an experienced and highly skilled team focused on delivering high-quality engine maintenance, reliability and exceptional customer service. Please note: This role offers both contract and permanent employment Primary Objective Perform maintenance, repair, overhaul, inspection and troubleshooting activities on Rolls-Royce M250 Series II, IV and RR300 engines, ensuring all work is completed in accordance with FAA regulations, OEM documentation and company quality standards. Key Responsibilities Perform complete disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of M250 Series II, IV, and RR300 engines and modules. Troubleshoot engine malfunctions and recommend repairs or replacements. Clean engine components using approved processes and equipment. Conduct dimensional inspections using precision measuring tools and interpret results. Record and document work performed per FAA and company requirements. Ensure that all parts meet airworthiness and serviceability standards. Use OEM manuals, service bulletins, and engineering drawings to guide maintenance procedures. Participate in engine testing and performance validation as needed. Coordinate with Quality Assurance and Engineering teams to resolve technical issues. Aid in mentoring and training junior technicians. Maintain exact inventory records and report parts usage. Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards. Required Qualifications & Experience Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience with Rolls-Royce M250 Series II, IV and RR300 engines. In-depth technical knowledge in turbine engine disassembly, inspection, troubleshooting, and reassembly. Strong understanding of FAA compliance, airworthiness, traceability, and turbine engine documentation requirements. Excellent communication, teamwork, organizational and problem-solving skills. FAA Powerplant Certificate required. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in certified MRO facility desirable Familiarity with FAA Part 145 repair station operations FAA Inspector Authorization (IA) certification Previous test cell experience running military and commercial engines Physical & Working Requirements Ability to work within a shop-based environment with individual workstations. Comfortable working with shared special and precision tooling. Ability to safely perform hands-on engine maintenance, repair and overhaul activities. Willingness to follow all required safety procedures and use appropriate PPE. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
