JMT Consultants Inc. – Winnipeg, Manitoba Full-Time, Permanent JMT Consultants, in collaboration with Apex Structural, is a North American–based global leader in structural design & detailing solutions. Through our Accelerated Project Delivery™ (APD) approach, we bring engineering, detailing, and BIM together under one coordinated workflow to deliver efficient, constructible designs. Our services include pre-construction modeling, structural design, steel and rebar detailing, connection and stair engineering, estimate modeling, and BIM management. We work on complex, fast-paced projects and value practical problem-solving, collaboration, and real-world construction knowledge. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who is equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves to execute day-to-day HR activities. They will partner closely with leaders across multiple departments and geographies to ensure people practice align with JMT's culture, values, and business objectives. What You’ll Do: Lead global talent acquisition initiatives, including recruitment outreach, employer branding, and innovative sourcing strategies to attract top talent and build proactive talent pipelines. Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to identify current and future workforce needs, supporting strategic hiring decisions across all departments and regions. Support global workforce planning initiatives, including organizational growth planning, succession planning, and talent forecasting. Develop, maintain, and analyze HR dashboards and workforce reports to provide actionable insights and recommendations to leadership. Monitor and report on key HR metrics, including headcount, turnover, retention, absenteeism, attendance and employee engagement. Analyze workforce trends and employee data to identify opportunities to improve employee experience, operational effectiveness, and organizational performance, with particular focus on supporting global teams. Conduct compensation benchmarking and market analysis to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices across multiple regions. Identify turnover patterns, workforce risks, and retention opportunities, recommending strategies that improve employee engagement and long-term retention. Partner with department leaders to translate workforce analytics into strategic initiatives related to recruitment, talent development, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness. Drive continuous improvement of HR processes, systems, reporting, and documentation, identifying efficiencies, cost savings, and opportunities to leverage technology. Administer and optimize HRIS systems while collaborating with external vendors, advisors, and service providers to support HR operations globally. Support learning, leadership development, and career progression initiatives by identifying training needs and professional development opportunities that strengthen individual and organizational capabilities. What Makes You Stand Out: 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including experience supporting multiple business functions. Experience supporting employees across multiple countries or regions is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices in North America and India. Experience in professional services, engineering, construction, technology, or consulting environments is an asset. Demonstrated experience managing employee relations and performance management matters. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field. CPHR designation (or working toward designation) is considered an asset. Must be based in Winnipeg Valid passport and able to travel to USA and India. Why Work for JMT Consultants?
