2518 Bilingual Payroll Specialist
Our client is seeking a Bilingual Payroll Specialist for a hybrid role at their corporate office in Mississauga. As a member of an experienced payroll team, you will assist with full payroll processing for over 1800 employees nationwide.
Office: Hybrid, 3 days in office.
Abbreviated Duties:
- Processing of a large, complex, national payroll.
- Oversee the preparation, processing, maintenance and distribution of a payroll information, payroll reports, payroll manuals and related payroll working instructions.
- Processing: salary/wage increases, benefit deductions, employee terminations, new hire setup, salary/wages changes, benefit deductions, terminations
- Ensure processes and systems comply with Canadian provincial and federal legislation.
- Update documents, policies, processes as needed.
- Respond to enquiries and provide support across the company for payroll-related issues.
Experience
- Bilingual: strong verbal/written communication: English and French - REQUIRED
- Certified Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) - REQUIRED
- 3+ years large payroll processing experience, multi provincial
- Work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines
- Excellent Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables.)
- Strong knowledge of payroll tax law & Employment Standards in Canada.
