What you'll do Responsibilities Under the supervision of the Works Supervisor or his designate, the Labourer/Utility Worker Apprentice/Utility Operator performs all forms of general labour work associated with the operation of the Utility in a safe, efficient manner. This position works outdoors, in all types of weather. What you'll need Qualifications Minimum qualifications for this position: Grade 12 or equivalent satisfactory experience in maintenance and operation of a water system. Perform general labour tasks associated with the operation of water, wastewater, and stormwater utilities. Ensure all work is completed in a safe and efficient manner while working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Candidates must have a Grade 12 diploma or equivalent satisfactory experience in the maintenance and operation of a water system. The role requires the ability to perform physical labour in an outdoor environment.
