This is an opportunity for an experienced Concrete Finisher to contribute to industrial, commercial, and civil construction projects in Alberta. You’ll be responsible for producing high-quality concrete surfaces through precise placing, leveling, smoothing, and finishing techniques. The role combines hands-on craftsmanship with the safe and efficient use of concrete finishing tools and equipment. Complete edging, floating, troweling, brooming, and other required concrete finishing techniques. Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment used in concrete finishing. Assist with concrete preparation, forming, pouring, and finishing activities as required. Inspect finished surfaces to ensure they meet required quality standards and project specifications. Read and work from construction drawings, specifications, and project requirements. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout construction activities. Follow all applicable site safety policies, procedures, and requirements. Work effectively with other crew members to meet project timelines and deliver quality results. Support other construction activities related to concrete work as needed. Requirements: Previous professional experience as a Concrete Finisher is required. Strong knowledge of concrete finishing techniques, tools, and equipment. Experience on industrial, commercial, or civil construction projects is an asset. Ability to read and understand construction drawings and technical specifications. Strong attention to detail and a consistent commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work outdoors in varying conditions. Reliable, safety-conscious, and capable of following site procedures and instructions. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a construction crew. Reliable transportation to and from project sites.
