This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Financial Wealth Advisor (Advisory Team) based in Canada. As a Financial Wealth Advisor, you will manage and grow an established book of business while delivering comprehensive, personalized wealth management services. You will advise clients across investments, retirement, estate planning, insurance, and tax strategy, supporting a wide range of financial needs. The role combines relationship management and business development, giving you the opportunity to deepen existing relationships while building a consistent pipeline of new opportunities. You will transition established client relationships onto a modern wealth management platform and ensure a smooth, high-quality onboarding experience. You will have access to technology, planning tools, operational support, and experienced leadership to help scale your practice efficiently. Collaboration and knowledge sharing are central to the role, with opportunities to contribute to complex client situations and mentor junior advisors. This is a flexible opportunity for an experienced advisor seeking to build long-term practice ownership while focusing more of their time on clients and growth. Accountabilities Manage and grow an established book of business while delivering comprehensive wealth management services. Advise clients across investments, retirement planning, estate planning, insurance, tax strategy, and related financial planning needs. Transition existing client relationships onto the wealth management platform while maintaining continuity and a strong client experience. Prospect consistently for new clients through referrals, community engagement, professional networks, and direct outreach. Build and maintain long-term relationships with high-net-worth individuals and families, professionals, executives, nonprofits, and small business owners. Develop qualified business opportunities and maintain a consistent prospecting pipeline. Leverage technology, financial planning tools, and operational resources to deliver personalized and efficient client service. Collaborate with colleagues on complex client situations and contribute relevant institutional and industry knowledge. Support the development and mentoring of junior advisors as the practice grows. Contribute to a collaborative team environment with a long-term focus on practice and client relationship development. Requirements Minimum $10–15M in assets under management (AUM) with transferable client relationships. Series 65 or Series 66 license required. Demonstrated track record of proactive business development and consistent client prospecting. Strong history of client retention and organic book growth. Broad experience across multiple client profiles and wealth planning disciplines. Strong knowledge of investments, retirement planning, estate planning, insurance, and tax strategy. Ability to build trusted, long-term relationships with sophisticated clients and diverse stakeholder groups. Collaborative working style with a long-term orientation toward practice ownership and growth. Strong communication, relationship management, and business development skills. CFP, CFA, ChFC, AIF, or another advanced professional designation is a plus. Experience serving nonprofits, 401(k) plans, executives, small business owners, or other specialized client segments is advantageous. Previous experience mentoring or developing junior advisors is a plus. Advisors managing $30M+ AUM who are seeking a more flexible and modern platform are also encouraged to apply.
