As a Staff Technical Recruiter, you will lead full-cycle recruitment across Product and Technology, partnering closely with senior Product and Engineering leaders to attract exceptional talent. You will play a strategic role in building high-impact teams, shaping recruitment strategies, and ensuring a strong candidate experience from initial conversations through offer acceptance. Working in a flexible, remote-first environment, you will manage diverse technical searches and adapt your priorities as business needs evolve. You will leverage your understanding of technical roles, talent markets, and industry trends to advise hiring managers and strengthen hiring decisions. Your work will help scale product development and engineering capabilities in a fast-moving fintech and payments environment. This is an opportunity to combine strategic stakeholder partnership with hands-on recruiting expertise while contributing to the growth of a technology-driven organization. \n Accountabilities Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to understand workforce needs, define role requirements, and develop tailored recruitment strategies. Own the full recruitment lifecycle for Product and Technology positions, from intake meetings and sourcing through candidate evaluation, offer management, and closing. Build and maintain strong talent pipelines across product management, software engineering, and related technical disciplines, with particular attention to candidates with fintech or payments experience. Advise hiring managers on talent market conditions, compensation and leveling considerations, and effective strategies for attracting and securing top candidates. Adapt to shifting business priorities by moving between Product, Engineering, and adjacent technical searches as needed. Manage high-volume, time-sensitive requisitions while maintaining a high standard of candidate communication, engagement, and overall experience. Continuously improve sourcing strategies, interview processes, technical assessment practices, and evaluation methods to support effective and consistent hiring. Recruit across individual contributor and leadership positions, tailoring search strategies to the requirements and seniority of each role. Apply structured interview methodologies and scorecards, coordinating technical assessments and interview processes that may include coding exercises or system design evaluations. Use modern applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools to organize pipelines, monitor progress, and support data-informed hiring decisions. Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to ensure recruitment efforts align with organizational goals and evolving talent needs. Requirements: At least eight years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a strong focus on Product, Technology, and Engineering roles. Demonstrated ability to recruit across both product and engineering disciplines and comfortably transition between them as priorities change. Working knowledge of technical roles, engineering concepts, and technology stacks sufficient to screen candidates effectively and build credibility with technical hiring managers. Experience recruiting in fintech, payments, or another highly regulated industry. Proven ability to manage a high-volume, high-urgency requisition workload without compromising candidate experience or recruitment quality. Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with confidence partnering with senior stakeholders and advising hiring managers. Experience using a modern applicant tracking system (ATS). Experience recruiting for both individual contributor and leadership-level positions across Product and Engineering. Familiarity with structured interviewing, scorecard methodologies, and technical evaluation processes, including coding or system design interview loops. Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, adaptability, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment. Ability to work effectively in a remote-first organization and collaborate across teams and functions. Must reside in Ontario or British Columbia, Canada, as the position is remote within either province. Benefits: Annual base salary ranging from CAD $119,800 to $149,800, depending on factors such as skills, experience, and work location. Eligibility for annual bonuses recognizing individual performance and overall company success. Multiple health insurance options. Flexible vacation time and additional floating holidays. Retirement savings program with company contributions. Equity in a publicly traded company. Monthly stipend to support remote work. Annual professional development stipend to support learning and career growth. Family-forming benefits. Generous parental leave with base salary top-up.
