This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Web Developer (Project Based) based in Canada. This is a project-based web development engagement focused on improving website functionality, accuracy, search visibility, and technical health. You will take ownership of the full project scope, working independently from implementation through delivery. The role combines front-end or full-stack development with practical SEO and safe website environment management. Key projects include improving real-time availability functionality, developing design proposals, and building new website content and services. You will also perform technical health checks and resolve issues affecting performance, SEO, and compliance. This is a flexible, remote opportunity suited to a self-directed developer who is comfortable proposing their own approach, timeline, hours, and project cost. \n Accountabilities: Take end-to-end ownership of the assigned website project and deliver the agreed fixed-scope work independently. Fix the Find My Match functionality so results accurately reflect real-time Ready-to-Hire availability. Develop and stage three design proposals for the redesign of the High Level Roles page. Build a new Internal Services page in accordance with the approved project scope. Perform comprehensive website health checks and identify and resolve technical issues. Monitor and improve technical and on-page SEO across the website. Maintain a safe separation between staging and production environments throughout development and deployment. Coordinate with IT representatives and management as needed to provide progress updates, review work, and address project questions. Identify potential risks, limitations, assumptions, dependencies, and required inputs that could affect successful delivery. Provide clear documentation of completed work and any relevant recommendations for ongoing website maintenance. Requirements: Demonstrated full-stack or front-end web development experience using the current website CMS and technology stack. Practical experience with technical and on-page SEO, including identifying and resolving issues that affect search visibility. Proven ability to safely manage staging and production environments and follow appropriate deployment practices. Strong ability to work independently and manage an entire project scope with limited day-to-day supervision. Experience translating website requirements into functional, reliable, and user-friendly implementations. UI and web design proposal experience is a plus. Experience with website compliance and accessibility remediation is an advantage. Strong problem-solving, organization, communication, and project planning skills. Ability to clearly define project scope, deliverables, timelines, estimated hours, costs, assumptions, and dependencies in a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Comfortable working with distributed, multicultural teams across different time zones. Willingness to sign an NDA and Project Agreement before receiving detailed project information and credentials. Willingness to undergo a background check. A portfolio demonstrating relevant and comparable web development projects is required. Benefits: Fully remote, project-based freelance engagement.
