Conducting detailed analysis of the cost and benefits associated with various construction projects. 2. Preparing, reviewing, and updating cost estimates throughout the lifecycle of the project. 3. Collaborating with architects, engineers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors to gather all necessary data to produce the most accurate estimate. 4. Analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates. 5. Assessing cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops. 6. Consulting with industry experts to resolve cost discrepancies and discrepancies between estimated and actual costs. 7. Preparing cost and expenditure statements and other necessary documentation at regular intervals for the duration of the project. 8. Conducting risk assessments and presenting potential cost outcomes to stakeholders. Qualifications: To be considered for this role, you must have: 1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. 2. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in construction estimating. 3. Proven experience in estimating costs for hospitals, higher education institutions, schools, commercial buildings, and federal, state, or government construction projects. 4. Proficiency in cost estimation software and tools. 5. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills. 6. Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment. 7. Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications. 8. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills. 9. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. 10.
