Calgary client is seeking a highly skilled Director of Finance to lead and strengthen the financial operations of the business. This role will provide day-to-day leadership to the Finance department, ensuring strong strategic alignment, financial compliance, and operational excellence. The Director of Finance will partner closely with cross-functional leaders and report directly to the VP of Finance.

Your Success Will Be Defined By Your Ability To

• Lead all core financial operations, including accounting, reporting, treasury, compliance, and tax
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and performance analysis to support decision-making
• Deliver timely, accurate financial and operational insights to leadership
• Own internal controls, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance
• Build and develop a high-performing finance team; drive system, process, and tool improvements (e.g., NetSuite)
• Manage key vendor and partner relationships and support strategic initiatives, including M&A and financing

Your strengths include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA strongly preferred
• 7+ years of progressive finance experience, including senior leadership
• Strong audit, compliance, and internal controls expertise
• Prior SaaS experience considered an asset
• Proven people leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Highly analytical with strong business insight and data storytelling abilities
• Hands-on experience with financial systems and a process-driven mindset
