We are looking for a motivated, adaptable candidate with a foundational understanding of networking and communication technologies to join our team. We are a wireless microwave radio systems provider looking to train a candidate on next-generation wireless and microwave systems used by utilities and oil & gas companies for industrial applications. Because we are a small and dynamic team, flexibility is key. You'll get hands on experience across multiple parts of the business. Gaining a strong understanding of this technology will allow candidates to grow their careers in the telecommunications industry. What You'll Be Doing: Lab Staging & Hardware Prep - Setting up, cabling, and configuring radio and networking equipment in our lab. Technical Support & Troubleshooting - Helping diagnose equipment issues, running tests, and working with our team to resolve technical faults. Acceptance Testing - Running functional validation and acceptance testing procedures on hardware prior to client delivery. RMA & Vendor Liaison - Managing defective hardware returns, tracking repairs, and coordinating with vendor support. Inventory & Logistics - Overseeing hardware inventory, tracking assets, and handling shipping/receiving tasks. General Tech Operations - Adapting on the fly to support various day-to-day technical tasks, from managing hardware inventory to organizing documentation What you bring: A solid grasp of networking fundamentals (Layer 2/3 concepts, IP addressing, Ethernet/cabling). A hands-on, willing to learn attitude and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. Enthusiasm to grow a long-term career in the telecommunications and wireless industry. Completed or currently pursuing a post-secondary technical diploma (e.g., Information Technology) or a technical degree (e.g., Bachelor of Technology) Extra Consideration for: Previous experience in a technical role. Familiarity with basic RF, wireless communication, or serial/legacy data protocols.
