Pay: CA$52,903.59-CA$100,000.00 per year Job description: Vast has grown from 200 employees in 2021 to over 500 employees in 2026. This tremendous growth coupled with several key senior managers retiring, has created an opportunity to add management talent to assist in managing our ever-growing business operations and to be key contributors to the future growth of Vast. We are not searching to fill specific positions but instead are seeking talented individuals who can fill newly created roles which suit their unique talents. These positions will be in our manufacturing businesses where we can leverage the new talent to improve operations and help to grow the business. The candidates should be early to mid career – say from 7 to 20 years in the workforce after formal education. · Work experience where the candidate has shown initiative and an ability to make things happen. · Appreciation for the technical aspects related to designing and manufacturing durable engineered products to meet the specific demands of our customers. · A customer and service orientation and experience in managing challenging customer or supplier issues in an effective manner leading to Improved customer/supplier relationships. · Experience making changes and solving problems through thoughtful analysis, collaboration, consultation followed by implementation and effective on-going management to assure continued success · Experience in effectively managing a team. · Knowledge and understanding of key financial and operational metrics and how to apply financial analysis to make effective decisions. · Ability to operate in a highly decentralized organization where decisions are made quickly and action taken in real time. · Flexible in applying skills and talent where needed. · Strong ability to communicate effectively both inside and outside the organization. · An appreciation for the unique culture of an organization. · Desire to succeed as a team and individual and be rewarded as such. New team members will be working from one of our production facilities in Brampton, Woodbridge, or Woodstock in Ontario. Or from Vancouver, B.C. or Easton Maryland, USA. Business related travel is expected. Work Location: On the road

Requirements

Candidates should have 7 to 20 years of professional experience with a proven track record of initiative and team leadership. A strong understanding of technical manufacturing processes and customer service orientation is required.
